The high-tech and technology team advises start-up companies, investors, entrepreneurs, venture capital funds and international companies in all areas related to the start-up companies’ activities. The team members have a deep understanding and extensive experience in the technological and business environments in the fields of electronic commerce, telecommunications, the payments industry, and biotech.
On the part of the start-up companies and entrepreneurs, the team accompanies the entrepreneurs and companies from the initial stages of incorporation, the stages of raising capital and building the business model, through the ongoing management, including technology licensing and intellectual property, to the management of negotiations and the completion of sales transactions (exit).
The team combines in its work many of the firm’s areas of expertise, particularly in the areas of company law, intellectual property, labor law, and litigation, as well as the affiliations with partner offices abroad, in order to provide its clients with a comprehensive and unified package of services to address all the needs of start-up companies and entrepreneurs.
For many years, the firm served as a legal advisor to the Hadassit company – an arm of the commercialization of intellectual property
of the Hadassah University Hospital and its subsidiaries in the field of biotechnology and medicine.
